Confessions of a Cooped Up Canine

Saturday was a downright miserable day to be outside. We woke up to a drizzly cold rain and it did not stop.  I confess, I was bored and found numerous places to crash.

My best impression of a couch potato.

As uncomfortable as this may look to you, I find it's quite cozy
at the bottom of the stairs and I can be found there often.

In my boredom I thought about ducks and how they don't mind bein' cold and wet. I went back to the livin' room and watched the skies.

Surely there would be ducks around on a day such as this.
My wisdom and patience paid off. One flew by and I snagged it.

Dad did brave the "ick" long enough to take me for a short afternoon run. Other than that and this duck my Saturday was rather uneventful.

Much to my consternation, Sunday started out pretty much the same way, although by day's end the weather began to cooperate. The sun came out and it became nice enough for me to stretch my legs.

And stretch them I did.

Is that a groundhog I see?

Nope. False alarm.

Parental Unit shadows - (PU's for short.)

Corn fields ready for harvest make a pretty autumn picture.

As the sunshine ceased, so did the weekend.
I confess, rain or shine, I did not want it to stop.

As they say:
Another day ~ another dog biscuit.

I like your stairway snuggle spot. That way even if you fall asleep you will be alerted to passing humans.

Well you sure are a very cute stairway and couch potato. I tried to be a couch potato as much as I could this weekend. Very pretty fields you finally got to run through.

Love the stairwell sleepy spot. That is a particularly good place to snooze at night when the humans try to walk around without the lights on. We love creating a sleeping Siberian minefield.

Another day - another dog biscuit. You crack us up.

Chester we are so sorry about the rain. Luckily the sun decided to come out later...
Not sure if Sis will start a blog. She does take a lot of pictures so perhaps we can convince her..

Hey, Mom says that looks like what she saw Sunday morning!

As woo saw on my blog, the nonstop rain from Thursday to early Sunday didn't deter me!

Of khourse, Mom was a meanie and didn't walk me but she did humour me and let me lounge out there!

Hey Brother
That sleeping nest is quite nice. I'm impressed with your ability to fold up your body parts. I'm sure it's a fun to stretch while someone is trying to get up/down the stairs.

That corn field looks most fun.. rain or sun. Just be wary of children out there....

I like your trick.. here's one for u. czismklejaixcmvkis- oh sorry i was speaking in polish - hold on ieuuueowmaom20u?>Ls. Got it?

Ok Chester, now you got ALL of us just dying laughing here!! Your bottom of the stairs spot looks about as comfortable as Ringo's against the door jam spot!!!

On a more serious note, those countryside pics are gorgeous. Really. And I think we all hate for the weekend to end. :-(

Hope you guys are all having a wonderful Sunday!
