The work week was incredibly long considerin' that
I only put in four days this week. Isn't that the way it always goes?
You get to anticipatin' a short week and it only makes it seem longer.
Bottom line is, I didn't have to hurry and rush out the door this mornin'.
Knowin' that, I got a little crazy on my end of the work week walk
last night. I don't remember much - it's all kinda blurry.
I DO remember it bein' a whole lotta fun ~ that's for dogonne sure!
So much fun in fact, that I didn't want to be the only one enjoyin' myself. Bein' that Mom was the only one around, I insisted she join me in my celebration.
All of a sudden, it became perfectly clear to me....
....that you should never ask an old stick-in-the-mud
to join in your fun.
