Curtain Call

O Chester, Chester
wherefore art thou Chester?
With my long absence some of you may be askin' this question. I appeal for just a few moments of your precious time as I give an account of my whereabouts.

The time has come for me to publish what may well be the hardest post I have yet to write. With much sadness I am here to inform you that I am takin' hiatus from the "For the Love of Chester" stage for awhile. My GrandPUs have both been havin' health problems and they need Mom's assistance; and I feel the need to be there for moral support and comedic relief. Not only has it been hard to find the time to bring this act to a close but it's also been hard to put into words just how much I've enjoyed directin' and actin' in this little production of mine. Your faithful attendance and favorable reviews have made all the work worthwhile and the friendships that I've gained are absolutely priceless. I hope to be back someday sharin' the drama of a 4 legger Chocolate livin' in a 2 legger world but for now, the curtain has dropped and Act One has come to an end. I'd like to say it will be a brief intermission but at this time I'm not sure how long it may last.

Not to worry! I will still be seen in your audience as time permits. I love attendin' your productions and watchin' the comedies and dramas unfold! I hope to also hone my own thespian skills and someday come back with even more theatrical entertainment; not to mention the marketin' of more products bearin' my Big Brown likeness.

As I exit the stage I wish you all the fun, frolic, treats, walkies and stuffies a dawg can handle. I do not feel the need to wish any of you more love because I know if DogBlogville is one of your favorite hang-outs, then you are already showered with an abundance of love and praise from your 2 leggers.

Be well my friends, it's been an honor to share the
spotlight with such fine dawgs and their PUs.

Goodnight, goodnight! Parting is such sweet sorrow!
Chester ♥

Chester! I will miss you but I understand completely. There are many very important things in life that one must prioritize over blogging. My huge thoughts are with your family. Thanks for letting your pals know what is going on. Don't be a stranger.

Take your time and support your mom through this time. Our hu-dad understands some of what she is going through with the decline of his own father, so reach out if she needs some support.

Will watch for you when you return.

What the hay?! You're bowing out for now? I got chills when I saw the curtain fall. Hmm, I'm selfishly going to be okay with this thanks to FB. Speaking of which, I must stop sticking my foot in my mouth over there as well as here. I'd be lying if I said I'll miss your blog. The truth is that I love your blog but I'm overwhelmed and feel guilty all the time for not leaving comments. You better nudge me when you are back on please!

It's been a fabulous show thus far

Awwww, Chester, we're sure gonna miss ya... but we'll try to keep followin' along on FB as much as possible. We totally understand how life can rob us of our blog and internet time. Ringo still has an open door for ya here in Kansas, if you ever want to come for a dip in his pond. :-) In the meantime, hug and slobbers to you and your 2-leggers from all of us here... we sure have enjoyed knowing you, and hope to continue the dawg luv.
