Hey Gang! Chester here and I'm hoping that all you dawgs in Blogville had a really great Easter. I've been trying to get this post out but between computer problems and busy-ness with my day job-I'm falling behind. But anyway, from what I've been reading, it looks like everybody had something special to eat for Easter. With that I am no exception.
Mom sent me out to the mailbox on Saturday-one of my daily chores that I do to earn my keep around here-and when I opened the mailbox my big brown jaw dropped, bounced off the road and snapped shut. First thought was "How in the world did the mailman get that to fit?" I ran and got the camera just so you'd see what I'm talkin' about.
Chester: Uh, Mom-if we're gonna be getting more mail like this, you really should clean the cobwebs outta the mailbox.
Chester's Mom: Looks like you just added another chore to your list.
Chester: Talk to the paw 'cause the floppy ears ain't listenin'
Anyway, that tightly sealed box couldn't hide the sweet aromas wafting out from it's inner depths. Come on, this nose just ain't for lookin' good, ya know! I've got a nose for smellin' and a bod for well, never mind. Anywhoooo...........
Here's me stickin' my snooter in to see what awaited me
Just look at all the pretty shapes and colors! These wonderful treats came from 3 Dogs and a Chick clear down in Florida!
As if I'm not smitten enough, Mason Dixie now has gotten my full attention. Doesn't the old saying go "A way to a dawgs heart is thru his stomach"? Works for me!

As you can see, I needed a little help from Mom but we eventually got to the good stuff. And good stuff it was!! And guess who sent me this via the Hippity, Hoppity, Easter Bunny Trail? None other than my Golden Girl, Mason Dixie!! Mom wanted me to say "thanks" but she also told me to never speak with food in my mouth so I had to make a choice whether to eat or to speak, and speakin' wasn't it. (Mom stopped the camera to remove the packing peanut which didn't taste all that good anyway)

On a side note, last night was the final straw for the home computer. Mom caught me about to throw it out the window so we devised a plan. We took the TV remote control hostage which got Dad's undivided attention. Soon a laptop will be headed our way! Ah-Wroooooooooooooooooooooooo!!

Hi Chester! What a great Easter present from Mason Dixie! You'd think something called a "peanut" would be edible. It makes no sense. Congratulations on the new computer on its way!
See ya!

Awww, how cute! Can we post the video of Chester opening his package on our blog? I'd love to share it with our other customers. :)
