Mountain Hoodlum

Hey Weekend...........ready or not, here I come!!!!

Actually, what you're lookin' at is just me bein'
Big and Brown in the mountains LAST weekend.
This is how it all got started:

I watched as my PUs loaded up everythin' but the kitchen sink.
(2 leggers sure do require a lotta stuff just for an
afternoon in the mountains.)

I began to forge the trail as soon as
the door opened.

Soon we came across this sign.
I pretended that I couldn't read it but let me just say,
"Yeah, right."

♫♫ Critters to the left of me.....

critters to the right.....♫♫

and here I am, stuck here in the middle
with this bump on a log.

Dad saw what he thought might be coyote tracks
so I thought I'd let a pee mail. That way he'd know
Big Brown was in his 'hood.

Lots and lots of runnin'....

sure makes a dawg thirsty....

and tired.....

so we headed for home,

but not before takin' a walk across the big ice cube.

I was hopin' Dad might lose his footin' and
allow me to walk pull him over to watch the hockey game.
As usual, I was not allowed to meet and greet
each and every 2 legger that came into my sight.

It was a little slippery, as you can see by my skid mark.

That pretty much sums it up, other than
a good time was had by all.

Now that we have skidded into another weekend ~
I hope you have a lot of fun loaded up in your 'hood!

Chester ;0=)

That's funny. Mr. Wild Dingo calls our Loki "Big and Brown" but he's actually mostly black with a bit of brown while the husky is black and white...

We're waiting to explore some snow shoeing where we live at the moment (Switzerland) ... we've already gone once but sans doggies...

now what i wanna know is if you saw me and I wanted to say hi, wouldn't your two legger let you? i do the same to my two four leggers but then we always run into someone who says "awwweee....doggies!" and insists on a hello....

That looks like my kind of weekend! I wish we had fun planned for this weekend, but my hike is foiled by a stupid human party on the only day it's warm enough for the humans to go out hiking. Hmph! I hope you get out there and do something fun for all of us!

That looks like a lot of fun, Chester - we would love to get out and be able to explore and run like you did. Not to mention all that snow.

Hope this weekend brings another great adventure your way.
