Hey Gang! I really hope you're not sittin' here readin' this simply 'cuz you forgot
to turn your clock back and you have an hour to kill before you start your job.
Sorry to say, I don't have a full hour of things to talk about here today.
In fact, you could say it was same ol', same ol' in Big Browntown this weekend.

Business as usual included:
Dumbbell gnawin'.......
and cornfield stompin'.
Hidin'.......
and seekin'.
Beggin'.......
and nappin'.
Yeppers, the weekend was pretty much the same as any
other ~ except yesterday I had an extra hour to stir up some trouble.
Speakin' of which, I don't have any pictures of what the PUs term an "emergency bath". Seems they don't care for that fresh, outdoorsy scent I had just come across to slather on. Mom wanted to take me to the Doggy Wash but Dad said
I was too odiferous to be in a vehicle. Therefore, I was forced to endure
a frigid outdoor bath in the bitter cold of a November day!!!
Chester's Mom: Hold up there Chester, aren't you exaggerating just a little bit?
I seem to remember last winter when you were a running icicle because you jumped in Pappy's stream when the temps were well below freezing. You didn't seem to mind the cold then.
Chester: Uh, that was different. Yesterday there was soap involved.
Alright already, I guess I'll go out on a limb....
....and say - other than the soap -
it wasn't too bad of a weekend after all.
'til next time,
Chester ;0=)
Pee. Ess. It was the wind that knocked this branch down. Really.
I had nuthin' to do with it. *wink *wink

It looks like a busy weekend to me, Chester, even though you left out pics of the best part, where you got into whatever it was that the PUs found so objectionably smelly.
Uh oh - do I sense another case of cold water tail coming on? Remember that sympathy angle! :)
hey big brown,
Whatever!!!! .....it's sooooo nice to see you again and again....

I am so impressed with your tree trimming abilities *WINK* I need to get a few lessons from you DAWG! And please watch out for that dreaded cold water tail my friend.
Out on a limb - that's funny! Sounds like the pawfect weekend to us (except for the soap part)!
I hate that soap stuff too... but dude, that's one nice branch!

PeeEssWoo: I think I saw some of your furs blow by me today!
You look so peaceful napping on your big, cushy bed. I can't imagine you went out this weekend and got into stinkiness. Surely your mom exaggerates. ;)
Too bad about the bath but, all in all, it sounded like a great weekend - even the weather looked good.
We like that limb you climbed out on:)
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Chester you sure are strong knocking down that big stick. We like the first picture. Looks like you are eating a lemon

Hey! Getting wet should happen on your own terms. An exciting swim in a frigid stream is just not the same as cold hose water. Gosh, even I know the difference and I'm not a water dog or anything.
Slobbers,
Mango
Sounds like an (almost) perfect weekend to us.
