Baby birdie cannot fly
he left the nest too soon.
Mr. Turtle trods along
never searching for a room.
Chester Hoover sought him out
but Mr.Turtle would not run.
Strangest groundhog I ever saw
And really not much fun.
Woofs and newfound slobbers,

This is absolutely adorable! How cool is that?!
Maybe, Chester, the turtle wanted to be invited in the house.
Kisses,
Stella
No worries Chester, it's like roast beef on a hard roll!
That is a pawsome turtle!
Wow, Chester, that's a big turtle. It doesn't really seem like he wants to play, though, does it? You have lots of interesting friends!
See ya!

I don't like playing with turtles, they bore me because they don't move around fast enough. I want to run fast and jump around and turtles just don't do it for me. Now chickens on the other hand.....
A turtle friend? That's really cool!
is the birdie okay?
'Diggin' your blog. Stop by anytime.
Thanks for stopping by my blog... and I can see it will be fun to follow yours. Along with our two aussies, we have a choc Lab - Ringo. He seems to have been getting more blog billing lately than the girls (he usually turns up on my photo blog, more often than not).
As for the storms, I'm already pretty used to them, even though I've only lived here a year. Had a bad batch this a.m., knocked out our internet service for about 4 hours. I hate it when my lifeline is gone!! :)
Hey chester
I had a recent turtle encounter too. I found it quite boring. About as fun as a rock.

Chester,
Yeah, those turtles don't do much running. That's why my mom always helps them cross the street otherwise thay'd become turtle road pizza! I hope that little birdie got his wings!
