Oh my, Chester! How can you sit there and watch that bird. I would be barking my head off and having a fit. You must have wonderful self-control. Now, I want a turkey. All I have here are squirrels to chase and the occasional neighbor's cat. Tell your mom to let you out and then....go get 'em, big guy! Love, Sally
Team 3 Dawg and Joey: That turkey is one of my uncle's that he raises in my Pappy's woods. I've seen 'em since I was a pup and even pulled the tail feathers outta one once but I've been told "NO" enough that I don't chase 'em anymore. That and I also ran my big ol' head into that glass enough times to know it hurts!!! Chester
Chester - I saw me one of these giant birds while out walking with my mom one day. It scared me so bad I tried to jump into her arms...all 90 pounds of me! But mom said it was OK and we should just keep walking. It was hard though...I had to keep turning around to make sure it wasn't following us. --- Gracie
We've got wild turkeys in our woods...We bark and bark, and they don't run away... It's no wonder they end up on so many dinner tables...DUH!!! Stay cool, Chester! Zack, Sassy and Buddy
Chester, that is so cool that you are going to try dock diving this weekend! I wish I could be there to help you. You might want to have your mom read this post that my mom put in a Labrador Retriever forum. Someone asked about training their dog to dock dive, and my mom gave them some pretty good tips for first timers. I'm going to make a post in my blog about teaching your dog to dock dive pretty soon, but until then, just have your mom read this post. My mom's handle in the forum is ChocolateDawg. Look for her post in that thread. And definitely let me know how it goes. Love, Sally
Wow a turkey. We saw a couple of those when we were coming home from the lake the other night. It was the first time, we didn't know there were turkey's in Texas but we saw them. We also saw deer tracks by the lake but no deer.. There are so many homes in the area is is very unusual..
Wow my Chester you definitely have some patients, I would not be able to contain myself and just watch. I would be scratching at the glass to get at that thing. But with you by my side I wouldn't even notice the big bird 5 feet away. =)
Haha, funny pic....were you drooling Chester?? Showing incredible self-control there....we'd be going doo-lally according to Mother *sigh* oh for our very own turkey..... Slobbers xx

Hi Chester! Is that a real live turkey out your window? Wow! Congratulations on some excellent watching!
Your pal,

Furry cool picture, Chester. I am afraid even with lots of trainings, I couldn't resist barking at that huge bird.
Maybe you will get the best revenge and be able to EAT it for Thanksgiving!
Kisses,
Stella

Wait, is that a real Turkey? Like, Thanksgiving bird? Wow...makes the bunnies and squirrels seem much less exciting.

That is a perfect example of restraint :)
